Privacy Policy

ContAlert Sistemas Ltda (CNPJ 69.603.022/0001-42), Brazil, is the controller of the data described here. We follow the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where it applies, the GDPR.

1. The extension

HATS analyses the website you choose to scan inside your own browser. The page content, scripts, headers and cookie settings it reads are processed on your device and are not sent to us. We do not collect your browsing history.

To check email records (SPF and DMARC), the extension asks Cloudflare's public DNS service (cloudflare-dns.com) for the domain being scanned. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to those lookups.

The extension only accesses a website after you click "Scan" and grant permission for that site. You can remove that permission at any time in your browser's extension settings.

2. HATS Pro license

If you subscribe, the extension stores your license key in your browser and sends it to hats.contalert.com.br to check whether the subscription is active. That request contains only the license key.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your name, email, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive from Paddle the information needed to manage your subscription, such as your email, country and subscription status. We never see your full card number.

4. Website

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.

5. Retention

We keep subscription records while your subscription is active and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contato@contalert.com.br. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).

7. Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page, with a new date.
